The Munda Biddi is one of the most amazing natural experiences Western Australia has to offer; paralleling the world famous Bibbulmun Track. Munda Biddi means ‘path through the forest’ in the Nyoongar Aboriginal Language. The trail promises to become a world-class nature-based off-road cycling experience, rivalling internationally renowned trails, with its enormous 900 kilometre length.

The trail was originally founded, in partnership, by a small group of individuals, who were passionate about developing an interesting wilderness trail for bikes, and a number of governmental/semi governmental agencies and the local communities. The WA Department of Conservation and Land Management and the Munda Biddi Foundation have also played major roles.

 

The track commences in Mundaring and meanders beautifully through an undeveloped natural corridor. Western Australia’s spectacular characteristics make this trail ideal, and a great adventure. Vast forests, untouched bushland, temperate cycling climate, and gentle terrain promise for Munda Biddi to be a fantastic natural escape and a real winner. Munda Biddi has received the bronze award at the WA Tourism Awards (2007), an amazing achievement for a first time entrant.
