Holland's Track
Holland’s Track, which can still be seen, dates back to the gold rush days. John Holland was an enterprising man who was determined to get to the Goldfields as fast as possible.
With a party of four men, he cut a track between Broomehill and Coolgardie. This 320 mile track became an important route to the Goldfields.

Broomehill
Broomehill is a small farming community 297 kilometres south-east of Perth. Broomehill’s population is 503. Gold was discovered at Coolgardie in 1893, so a walking track was established between Broomehill and Coolgardie about 450 kilometres long – very optimistic gold diggers would walk along in search of small fortunes. more
