Paddy Hannan's Statue
A life size statue of Paddy Hannan - the man credited with founding Kalgoorlie. Paddy Hannan was an Irish gold miner who was the first to discover gold in Kalgoorlie. Other gold miners soon packed up their belongings and moved to what is now known as Kalgoorlie. The statue stands outside the Town Hall.
