Busselton Historic Museum
The museum is housed in the Old Butter Factory (1918-1974), the building was originally constructed as a creamery and also supplied ice to the town and local fisherman.
The Heritage Butter Factory building has ten rooms that display photographs, equipment and memorabilia which trace the family, social, civic, commercial and maritime history of Busselton.
Production of butter ceased in 1974. Displayed are the many items of historical importance to the town; such as photographs, furniture, clothing, farm machinery, butter, and cheese making equipment, an old Group house fully furnished and a school.
