Discover Carnarvon's heritage! The Heritage Precinct is located at Carnarvon; and was the original Port of Carnarvon. There are plentiful attractions in the historically rich precinct. These attractions include; One Mile Jetty; Lighthouse Keeper's Cottage Museum; the Carnarvon Tramway; and the memorial to the worst naval disaster, the sinking of the HMAS Sydney. The precinct undertakes many project aiming to preserve the remaining elements of the port and to create a major world class tourist attraction.

Blowholes
The Blowholes are located 75 kilometres north of Carnarvon. This natural wonder is a ‘must see’ for all those travelling Australia’s Coral Coast. Amongst the rugged coastline is an amalgamation of rocks with a series of narrow holes. The powerful ocean swells force the surf up and through the narrow holes creating an awe inspiring image. The water pressure is that of a high pressure jet; shooting airborne of up to 20 metres, a spectacular sight. more
