Central Wheatbelt Visitor Centre
The Central Wheatbelt Visitor Centre is located in the heart of Merredin, a thriving regional town a pleasant three hours drive from Perth and Kalgoorlie along the Great Eastern Highway. It also is situated on the railway routes; Avon Link and Prospector Trans WA.
The friendly staff of the visitor centre are always happy and welcoming to anyone that need assistance. From travel attractions throughout the Central Wheatbelt to accommodation can all be booked and planned right from the Visitor Centre. A wide range of maps and brochures are also on hand.

Merredin
Merredin is a wheat town and home to the world’s largest road train. Located 260km east of Perth, Merredin has a population of 3,600. The town's name is derived from the Aboriginal word "merrit-in", the place of the merrit tree, a eucalypt used to make spears. more
